Another 4 weeks have come and gone. These last 4 weeks have actually gone by so fast they seem like a blur. Paislee and your Grandma Coache came with me to the doctors this month. The doctor explained to me why I have been passing out and feeling so yucky. Of course you are sitting on the main blood vessel between my organs and my brain, therefore then you chose to move it causes me some problems. I can not tell if you have the hiccups a lot or if you just enjoy doing somersaults all day long. All though I will say every time I grab your daddy's hand so he can feel all movement stops. You are growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts you at just over a pound. Since you are almost a foot long, your body is filling out proportionally and you will soon start to plump up. Your brain is also growing quickly now, and your taste buds are continuing to develop. Your lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help your air sacs inflate once you hit the outside world. Your skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon. You just stay put and keep growing. We will see you in just 3 short months.
Love,
Mommy
