SALSA

 I made salsa today and Axtan had his own teething ring.  He got his first tooth Sunday, July 16th and his second tooth today! He has been teething for months now and I am so glad they are finally coming through.

 So Yummy

POOL TIME

 One of the conditions of Jordan selling my grandparents house was he had to buy me a pool.  I don't know who is more excited the kids or me!!!

 Yes, it is still pretty cold, but the kids don't seem to mind

MOUNTAINS

 We are so lucky to have the mountains so close to our house! It is 32 miles from my driveway to the meadow.  It was also about 30 degrees cooler than Las Vegas.  The kids love every minute of it and so do I.

 This was Kenzie's first time coming with us and Rylan was very concerned about her coming down the mountain.

SWIM LESSONS

  I decided this year to put both the kids in swim lessons.  My wonderful friend Janette teaches and the kids love her.  She teaches an advanced class that Rylan took.  He was so excited to learn a few new strokes.

 On the last class she had the kids do some relay racing.  I was very impressed at how well Rylan did.

 I warned Janette before we started that Paislee was very scared of swimming in the big pool.  She held onto Janette with everything she had but by the end of the 2 weeks I think she got it. 

 Janette made Paislee hold her breath and go down and get a dive stick.  Paislee screamed the whole way to the middle of the pool, but she went down and got the ring!!!

COOKIES

We had a very fun day decorating cookies together!

4th OF JULY

 As always we started our 4th with swimming.  Thanks to Aunt Peggy for always opening her pool for us.

 Rylan decided he was big enough to do roman candles this year by himself

 Paislee is ready to do them one by herself

 I had to add this picture.  It was nap time for Axtan while we were swimming so I laid Axtan in Cody's arms while he was asleep.  Cody had no idea until Axtan woke up that he was snuggling.
