OUR HONEYMOON, FINALLY!

Yankee's Stadium. This stadium was so cool. It is old yet to know all the history there. As we sat and watched batting practice to think that Babe Ruth played right here in front of us, was a great feeling. In the 7th inning like always they sang God Bless America. That brought tears to my eyes. There is just something about hearing that song in Yankee Stadium.

New York City Temple
Jordan and I almost walked right past the Temple not knowing that it was there. It looks just like any other building when walking past it. It was a cafe and a museum right next to the entrance to the front door.

Jordan and I took a pedi-cab ride through Central Park. That was one of my most favorite things we need there.
The fountain from the beginning of the show "Friends"

We were on Wall Street when the Stock Market crashed. Let me just tell you there where not very many people with smiles on their faces.

We went to see the Broadway play Wicked. It was so good. I was a little bit worried that Jordan would hate it but he really liked it. We would both highly recommend it. Thanks, Kellie

Jordan was very excited to see this bull. He said that it was put here and no one knows who placed it in the middle of the street.

This is the Naked Cowboy! We were in Time Square everyday and never saw him. On our last day there he was finally there.

Elise Island

My mom's grandmother came through Elise Island. Last Christmas my mom's family paid to have her name put on the wall. Jordan and I were the first people from our family to go see her name there.

We went to the Top pf the Rock. The Rock, is actually Rockefeller Center. We chose to go up there in stead of the Empire State Building. It was pretty cool to see the whole valley.

Ground Zero. There is just a giant whole in the ground. The new towers should be done in 2012.

For those of you that may or may not know I have a little bit of a Coke Slurpee addiction. I am not afraid to use that word. I am addicted. The first day I was there I ask a police officer, because there are 3 on every corner, no joke, if there was a 7-eleven anywhere close. He told me that there was not one on Manahtin. I was so sad because we drove by a 7-eleven every day on the bus, but could not stop. My wonderful husband went into every Burger King trying to get me a coke Slurpee, but yet no Burger King's had there Slurpee machines working. NOT ONE. So on our last day there we were going down to the ocean to take a cruise around the island and as we were walking there it was. Two blocks from where we were everyday a 7-eleven. I was so mad at that stupid police officer. I was so excited so when I came out my husband thought he would be cute and take my picture.

Wednesday we headed up to Cooperstown, NY. We went to the baseball hallafame Thursday. It was pretty cool to see all the history. I loved reading about the fields.

Jordan and I drove up to Palmyra, NY on Thursday. We did all the church history stuff. We both enjoyed the Sacred Grove a lot. The feelings you have there are definitely over whelming.

Friday night we drove into Canada and stayed in Niagara Falls. The falls weren't quite what I was expecting. Jordan got us a room overlooking the falls, that was just beautiful. We slept we are window cracked so we could here them all night.
Saturday after we were done in Niagara Falls we drove back to Buffalo, NY and took an early flight home Sunday. It was 10 full days of fun. We had a great time. We defiantly missed the kids and where thankful to my sister and her husband for stepping in and staying with them for 10 days.
