This year for Mother's Day I was trying to be really on the ball and get the gifts taken care of about a month in advance. Well, due to the fact that Las Vegas has turned into the windiest city in America the last two months we were unable to get our family pictures taken, therefore messing up my Mother's Day gifts. I decided to give up on the idea of using the family pictures and just use pictures I already had, but then the craziness came. My friend and I have thus far had successful "Craft Nights" until we chose this project. I swear it was one problem after another. I don't love the way they turned out but my mom and mother-in-law both liked them so that's all that counts, right?!?

For Mother's Day this year I decided I wanted to give my mom a break and have Sunday dinner over at our house. I really enjoy cooking and my wonderful husband did all of the barbecuing. After church the kids and Jordan mopped my floor (which I was so grateful for) and then my sister came over and we put the shish kabobs together. It was a wonderful day and my husband and children made it a perfect day!
