THE HOUSE IS FINALLY OURS

After the longest closing of my life, the house is ours. We have started with all the work now. Jordan and Jake have been working non-stop on this house. They are my hero's. The cabinets will be in next week, the doors will be here Friday. We have been painting like crazy, and this last weekend we moved everything out of our storage unit. How sad is it that my whole last house fits in two rooms of my new house? We are going to try and move in this weekend.

Even Paislee pitched in to help

This is what Julie does while the rest of us work

A WEEKEND OF FUN

Last weekend my cousin got married up in Salt Lake. We jumped in the car and off we went. We had a great time at Thanksgiving Point and the Hogle Zoo. Jordan's grandparents met us at the zoo, which was nice because we hadn't seen them for a few months.

On are way home we stopped to see my dad's friends property in New Harmony. We had way to much fun there!

Jake even decided to ride a cow!!!

GO COWBOYS

Jordan and I were given NFL football tickets this weekend, sooo ROAD TRIP it was. Jordan, my brother Cody, my cousin Brandon, and I headed down to San Diego to watch the Chargers and Cowboys. We left Saturday morning, went to the game Saturday night and came home Sunday afternoon. Let me just tell you what a boys trip this was. I drove there and back while the boys played PS2, we ate dinner at Hooters, we then went to a football game. I defiantly enjoyed the game, but all the crying because my 14 year old brother kicked Jordan and Brandon's booties in every game they played I could have done without. They just would not accept that he was better at something than they were.

We sat at the 50 yard line about 30 rows from the players.

UP UP & AWAY

For those of you that may or may not know a close friend of mine lost her baby boy, and we were asked to join their family to celebrate his first birthday. Gavin touch more lives in the short time he was on this earth than most would in a life time. Gavin was a blessing in so many peoples lives. We sent Gavin 94 balloons into the heavenly sky to reach Gavin for his birthday. Gavin lived a full filling 94 days on this earth before he returned to his heavenly father.

So Close, Yet So Far Away

I don't know how many of you know but Jordan and I are in the process of buying a new house. We are so excited about this house. We bought it at the auction and got an amazing deal on it. The only real problem with the house is that when the old owners moved out they took the kitchen with them. Oh I mean the WHOLE kitchen. We got the call today that all the papers were in and we needed to come in to sign. We were so excited. We get in there and as we are signing the paper work the escrow agent says that the deed has NOT been signed yet. Jordan and I were so sad. They are hoping to get the deed in Monday or Tuesday, but we aren't counting on it. The sooner we get in the keys the faster we can start fixing the kitchen. Other than the kitchen there are a few little things that need to be fixed also. We hope to have all of it done by the time the cabinets get in (10 days). I promised my sister that the house would be done by the time we left for New York, when she watches Rylan and Paislee. We are both so anxious to get in to the house. Here are a few pictures of the house.

When you walk in the house there is a great big stair case

The master bedroom is so wonderful

You thought I was joking when I said they took the kitchen with them

My aunt decided to buy a puppy from Cedar City so my mom brought the puppy home from girls camp with her and my sister is taking it to California on Thursday. My children fell in love!!! She is a white Boxer.

Rylan calls the puppy Bull Dozer

Paislee wasn't to sure about her, but she sure loved Paislee

Roxi on the other hand did not want to play

Rylan did eventually let the puppy play on the grass

Daddy's Little Shadow

Rylan has decided that anything dad is doing, he needs to be doing also. I think Jordan really enjoys having a little shadow.

The song Do As I'm Doing came to mind as I watched them.

Dad wanted to wash his truck so Rylan run right to his Jeep and started scrubbing!

My Handy Men

Now that we are living with my in-laws we had to build our bunny's a house to protect them from the sun. My handy men went to work. I am so lucky to beable to have guys in my life that are so handy.

Finding Lucky

Julie and Jake bought a bunny rabbit that lives in the spare bathroom. Well Julie and Rylan decided it would be a great idea to let Lucky run around down stairs. Sooooo as you can see it took all of us to catch the rabbit!!!

4th of July

The 4th of July is like Christmas for most people to my husband. Jordan starts planning for the 4th about mid April. The boys head out to buy the fireworks in late May (that way they avoid the police) and they light fireworks from then until July 4th. We always start the day with swimming at Grandpa Zobrist and then off to my parents for the barbecue and fireworks. Here are a few pictures from the day.
