MAGICAL FOREST

Today we had the opportunity to go to the Magical Forest with my ward. It was an unbelievable deal, we got in for $10 for the family and when I calculated it, it would have cost us $50 plus all the rides were free! Rylan and Paislee had a ball. Rylan couldn't get enough of the slide and Paislee loved the carousal. It was a wonderful morning. I jut love the feeling of Christmas there. Paislee keeps asking if we can go again! I think Paislee went on the carousal 6 times!!!We tried the little slide before we headed to the BIG slide.
Rylan got to ride the slide 10 times!!!
We got to visit with Santa!!! Paislee was not to happy about Santa.

This Santa was more to her liking!

Rylan was happy to make sure Santa knew he wanted Bakugan's for Christmas!

Santa even got Grandma Zip on his lap!!!

My future Fire Man!!

We had to tell the kids we were going to have lunch with Aunt & Portlynn so they would leave.

No we are not driving!!!

HOUSE LIGHTS

I have been after Jordan for about 2 weeks, well sense we first started with the outside light to get the lights on the house. I love Christmas lights, the more the better. He has been pretty busy, but I would say he just didn't want to deal with them. Friday he called Eddie (my most wonderful cousin) to come help. He comes every year and helps. The house turned out beautiful. THANKS BOYS!

MY SUMMER PROJECTS

SOOOO, my husband was working in Utah for the summer so I decided to try and be crafty. With two sisters pregnant I thought I would make them blankets and I wanted to make a couple for Paislee. I ordered my material the first week in July. I even paid for the extra shipping so I would get them all done before he got home. I got Jessica's done right away. Then it took about a week for me to get going on Julie's. I started cutting squares, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. I decided it needed some red in it so I headed off to the fabric store. Of course while I was there I found the cutest fabric for Pasilee. It took about another week to get Paislee's Cinderella blanket done. I was still stumped on Julie's blanket. I kind of just started sewing. I got the square side done and thought it needed more so I added the red around the whole thing. Well now Portlynn is here and I hurried to get it done. I changed my mind about five times in how to complete her silly blanket. I really didn't think I was going to be able to finish it. So now I have three out of the four blankets I wanted to do this summer and it is Christmas!!! I wanted to give Paislee her other blanket for Christmas so I need to get going. If you look closely you can see her name in the corner. Baby Harlee's blanket Harlee & Aunt Holly

Baby Portlynn's blanket

Baby Portlynn & Aunt Holly

This is Paislee's first blanket, the next one will come at Christmas. (I hope)

I need to give a huge THANK YOU to my wonderful mother who was with me through the end with these blankets. I also need to thank my mother-in-law for her time in doing the embroidering for me.

MARTHA

Paislee received 3 of the exact same baby dolls on her first Christmas, all the same just different colors (Grandma's all thought a like that year). Well for some reason Rylan became attached to one of these dolls. Grandma Coache came up with the name Martha, not really sure why but okay. Dad wasn't exactly excited about this but we just kind of let him go with it. It has now been two years and Rylan still loves Martha. She doesn't go out with us very much, but she is slept with nightly. Martha came to Grandma Zips with us last night and while Harlee was sleeping Rylan thought he would share Martha with her. It was so sweet the way he tucked them both in together.

MEETING PORTLYNN

The kids were so excited to see Aunt's baby. We went over on Thursday and they just couldn't get enough. Paislee just wasn't to sure why we were calling this baby Portlynn and not Harlee?!? I think she understands there are two baby's now.

BABYSITTING

It was Jessica's birthday Thursday and she asked if I would keep Harlee for her. Of course I jumped at the chance to keep this sweet little girl. Little did I know that I wouldn't even get to feed her, let alone hold her. Paislee would not let go. She fed her her bottle, she burped her and she even helped put her pajama's on. I had know idea I had such a helper on my hands. Rylan wanted Harlee to watch Scooby with him, but that only lasted a few minutes before Paislee took her back!

PORTLYNN PERRY KATSOS

Portlynn Perry Katsos arrived today at 9:26am. She was 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long. She has a head full of black hair and looks just like her daddy! She has big feet and short fat fingers, again just like her daddy. Julie went into labor last night about midnight and luckily for her, her labor went pretty fast. Mom and baby are both doing wonderful.Dr. Swainston said now that he delivered both Harlee and Portlynn we can go to Disneyland, right!?! We love our doctor, we couldn't ask for anything more than four healthy children he has help us bring to this earth!
