SOOOO, my husband was working in Utah for the summer so I decided to try and be crafty. With two sisters pregnant I thought I would make them blankets and I wanted to make a couple for Paislee. I ordered my material the first week in July. I even paid for the extra shipping so I would get them all done before he got home. I got Jessica's done right away. Then it took about a week for me to get going on Julie's. I started cutting squares, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. I decided it needed some red in it so I headed off to the fabric store. Of course while I was there I found the cutest fabric for Pasilee. It took about another week to get Paislee's Cinderella blanket done. I was still stumped on Julie's blanket. I kind of just started sewing. I got the square side done and thought it needed more so I added the red around the whole thing. Well now Portlynn is here and I hurried to get it done. I changed my mind about five times in how to complete her silly blanket. I really didn't think I was going to be able to finish it. So now I have three out of the four blankets I wanted to do this summer and it is Christmas!!! I wanted to give Paislee her other blanket for Christmas so I need to get going.
If you look closely you can see her name in the corner.

This is Paislee's first blanket, the next one will come at Christmas. (I hope)
I need to give a huge THANK YOU to my wonderful mother who was with me through the end with these blankets. I also need to thank my mother-in-law for her time in doing the embroidering for me.
