Today was the Nascar Truck Races out at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I was so excited to take the kids and enjoy the day with some great friends. Boy was I mistaken. Saying it was HOT does not even explain it. The kids were ready to go before the races even started. We only stayed for 35 laps, and in that time there were 4 cautions. Those 35 laps took about an hour of the race. We purchased the $6 lemonade and 2 $5 icees, took some pictures and were DONE! It was an experience I don't think I want to do again. Atleast not in the heat.
