PAISLEE'S FIELD TRIP

Paislee's class had a field trip to the Lied's Discovery Musuem.  We had a great time and even talked Aunt & Portylnn in to coming with us.

PAISLEE'S BIRTHDAY

Paislee got pneumonia after her party on Saturday.  She spent the night at the Emergency room Saturday but was feeling a little better on her real birthday Monday so I let her open her presents and go to lunch.  She wanted Olive Garden with both her Grandma's and Mom.

PRINCESS PAISLEE IS 5

 Paislee insisted on a Princess Tea Party this year for her birthday.  It was so much fun to decorate and have all the little girls come in the princess dresses!

 Paislee wanted a pick Ariel cake. Thanks to a great friend Amber, that is what she got.

PTSO

It is funny to me people's reaction when I tell them I am on the PTSO at my children's school.  Most people have some kind of a remark such as, "That takes way to much time", "PTSO is way to political" or "I would rather spend time in my child's class than being part of THAT group".  My response is always the same, "I love our school, I love our Principle and I love that the administration knows my name and all THREE of my children's names".  IOur Principle, Mrs. Douglas, takes us to dinner every year and gives us a small thank you gift, as a thank you for all the hard work we do.  This year she gave us these very cute purses and movie tickets.  I added the supper cute cupcake socks that our President Janise gave us. 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Jordan has been working way to hard lately and so we didn't do much celebrating this year for his Birthday.  I'm not sure if it was because he is approching the big 30 or if he really was just tired but he wanted no birthday calebration.  I told him the kids knew it was his birthday so we were having a cake. 

HAPPY 29th JORDAN

JORDAN

Today is Jordan's birthday.  As you can tell by previous posts lately, birthdays are huge around this house.  Jordan hasn't been to excited about his birthday, I just couldn't understand why.  Tonight I get it, here it is 8:15pm and he is still not home from a very long day at work. He works from sun up, until long past sun down at a job he does not love.  It takes a toll on all of us when he works long hours.  I was blessed with a true MAN.  He works extremely hard to provide for his family, and makes it so I can stay home with our children.  I love him so much and respect him just as much.   

RYLAN'S BABY JESUS

Today in church Rylan's primary teacher, (whom I absolutely love) Sis. Overson told me that a few weeks ago they were coloring baby Jesus and the manger.  Once they were done the kids got to cut them out and place Jesus in the manger.  She thought it was odd that Rylan was coloring the backside of Jesus after he cut it out, but she didn't say anything to him, until he glued Jesus onto the manger upside down.  When she asked Rylan why he chose to glue Jesus on upside down, he replied "that's how my baby sleeps at home".  This is very true.  From the day Axtan could roll over he has slept on his tummy with his bum in the air.  I am so thankful that Rylan loves his little brother so much and that he notices the little things about him. 

AXTAN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

 We celebrated Axtan's birthday on Monday night with Grandma and Grandpa Coache and the Anderson's!

 It took him a few minutes but he figured out he got to eat the WHOLE cake!

 This was Axtan's favorite present and he wasn't to excited to share it with Gunnar

 He also didn't want to leave his car to open other gifts
