It was 1pm on Friday afternoon, I was sitting in my chair trying to put Axtan to sleep, Paislee was being her lovely whinny self and I was about to loose it. Just then the phone rang, I could see it was Rachel and I just knew she and Kes wanted to go to dinner tonight. I was so happy, of course I was good for dinner after the day we had had at our house. Nope, dinner was not what came out of her mouth. "LET'S GO TO THE CABIN" I just laughed, the cabin in the woods with my children, sure why not. I called Jordan and he had the same responds I did, "sure why not". Rachel wanted to leave at 4pm so I had a lot to do in a very little time. I worked as fast as I could and we were actually on the road by 4:45pm. Little did I know the Anderson's were about 3 hours behind us. We stopped and did some shopping in St. George and did our grocery shopping in Cedar and made it to the cabin about 45 minutes before they did. Jordan made a fire and we got settled in. Once the Anderson's got up there, Kes went to turn the water on. The cabin is a family cabin and the people that used it last did not know how to turn the water off correctly so they pretty much broke the water line. When Kes turned it on, it made a funny noise in the house and then filled the driveway with water. WE WERE WITHOUT WATER! By the way, did I mention I hate camping and being cold!!! My type of camping is a cabin with heat and running water. It actually wasn't to bad, we would turn the water on long enough to fill pitchers and pots with water and flush the toilet. My children and husband ended up getting sick up there, but all in all it was a fun weekend.
Axtan was not a fan of his puffy jacket
Panguitch Lake was frozen over about 15 inches thick so they took the 4 wheelers out to play. Rylan wanted to go ice skating so he did that. I sat in the Rino where the ground was completely solid.

We were extremely lazy and it was extremely nice!
We made smores (I love this picture of Blake)
