SCAVENGER DASH

Jordan and I participated in the LAS VEGAS SCAVENGER DASH today.  It was like a mini Amazing Race.  It was a lot of fun and we actually worked really well together.  We ended up 15 out of 51.  Jordan's only goal was to beat his parents.  Once he found out they took 1st  we stopped and got a slurpee, went to the bathroom and then finished the race

Our race tag

We rode the Monorail and the Cat bus

The dog tags we received when we completed the race

We had to buy a key chain with one of our names on it

We had to blow a bubble with two strangers

We had to do a conga line with 4 strangers

LITTLE BUM

Axtan's new favorite place to hang out is the breakfast nook. I knew it wouldn't take long for him to figure out how the dogs kept coming in and out of the room.  He thinks it's great to play outside now. Mom on the other hand is having to watch him like a hawk now.  He is by far my busiest child.  I blame Jordan for this.  When we were talking about what we wanted the sex of our baby to be while I was pregnant with Axtan, Jordan said he wanted a boy as wild and crazy as Paislee.  That is exactly what we got!!!

AXTAN IS 9 MONTHS

AXTAN
At 9 months you are:

20 pounds 14.5 ounces (57%)
29 inches (79%)

MONSTER, yes Axtan among your many nick names I like to call you monster.  You are so busy.  I can not keep up with the constant objects in your mouth, crawling all the way to the top of the stairs and now walking around all the furniture.  Nothing is safe anymore.  Your brother and sister are always in trouble when you are near. Currently your favorite place to play is my shower.  I'm not sure the appeal of it but you love it.  At the doctor today he called you monkey boy.  When you are laying on your back your legs are usually above your head.  You love to give kisses, wide open mouth kisses.  You also love to talk, dada, mama, yayayay those are some of your favorites right now.  When I put you in your car seat I swear you tell me off.  You even told Grandma off the other day as she was trying to buckle you in. You now have 6 teeth.  2 on the bottom and 4 on the top.  The top 4 came all together so that was nice.  It doesn't look like anymore are coming very soon.  Your eyes are still blue although some days I wonder if they might change to green.  They defiantly don't look like they are going to go brown like your brothers.  I love the way you light up when you see your brother or sister, but the very best is when dad gets home.  Your face is priceless.  The love you have for him is beautiful.  Your recognize him and call him dada right away.  Mama only comes here and there, but dada is every time you see him.  9 months is a pretty big event.  You have now been on earth as long as you were growing in my tummy.  The decision to have another baby was not not an easy one for your dad and I, but I can say with out a question it was the right one.  I wish I could explain better than just "FUN" what you bring to our lives.  We all love when you are a wake and want to be around you.  You are an extremely easy baby and I like taking you every where I go.  Thank you for choosing me as your mother.  I love you unconditionally.

DANCE TIME

Paislee was so excited when she came home from dance today.  Her teacher sent home a cd with all her music for the performance in December.  She practiced for hours when she got home.

She even got Rylan to dance with her

DYLAN ANTHONY ZOBRIST

Today I took the kids to meet Dylan. (Brandon & Dina's son) Not only is Brandon like a brother to me, he is Jordan's very good friend so the kids are very excited to have another cousin.  Rylan especially because he is a BOY!
Dylan has a very cool birth date 11/1/11
7 pounds 2 ounces

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We started off our Halloween Saturday at the ward Trunk or Treat.  I'm a bad mom and only got a picture of my cute giraffe.
Monday was Rylan's Halloween party.  The whole 1st grade ate hot dogs in the court yard and then went out to play.
After school was over we went to a Pumpkin patch with friends.  The kids could not get enough of the giant slides.
THE CREW (Rick, Paislee, Rylan, Blake)
minus Gunnar & Axtan
After the pumpkin patch we went over to show both grandma's their Halloween costumes.
We spent Halloween night with the Anderson's.  We ordered pizza and then Rachel and I took the kids out while the men watched football and handed out candy. Although I am not sure how much candy they actually handed out, the bowl was still full when we got back.
 OLIVIA & WOLVERINE

And of course the cutest little giraffe around!
