20 & 20

Dear Little One,
Today we hit our half way point. I'm not sure for you, but for me these last 20 weeks have gone by so slowly. I am hoping now that we are approaching the holidays, the next 20 will go by a lot faster. You have brought such joy to our family and yet your only job is to stay put and grow. You have made me extremely tired and that's okay because I know that means you are growing nice and big. I know our ears are now working so I would like to apologise for all the yelling. I am really trying to stop that, but for some reason your brother and sister only hear me when I raise my voice. Each night I go to bed and feel you doing all kinds of flips, you are getting shy though. I have tries a few times to have daddy feel you, he is not very patient and you just don't perform on demand. Mommy has been cleaning out your room. I am hoping to have everything out of there soon. I thought I knew where you were going to sleep, but your brother has decided he wants your room. We have a little while to decide so until then I will continue preparing your room. Thank you for choosing me to be your mother. I can not wait to hold you in my arms and watch you grow in this world.

GOOD NIGHT PAISLEE

Monday night I was so tired I turned on Mickey Mouse and told the kids it was time for bed. It was only 7:45 so I knew they were never going to actually fall asleep anytime soon, but I had to lay down. Much to my surprise they were BOTH asleep by 8:30. I couldn't believe it! I was still very tired Tuesday morning, (pregnancy is killing me) when I went to take Rylan to school. Luckily Jordan also had school that morning so he was home and I could let Paislee continue sleeping. When I got home I laid back down thinking Paislee would be up anytime because she usually gets up about 8am. Sure enough 10am rolls around and I jumped out of bed worried because I had to wake Paislee up to get her ready for school. I knew this meant trouble for me that night. Paislee with 14 hours of sleep was not a good thing. Last night at 10:30 I am again so tired. Jordan and Rylan were both asleep and I told Paislee that the lights were out and she needed to find a spot to go to bed. About 10 minutes later this is what I find.

She heard me coming and was hiding!

BOO

My mother-in-law asked me to put together a craft for her Super Saturday and this is what I came up with. I am trying to decide if I need to add a ghost to it or not?

HAPPY 6th ANNIVERSARY

Six years married seems like nothing in the big scheme of life. Yet how happy it has made me. This last year has been far from easy for Jordan and I but I am sure glad he is the partner I have to go through this world wind of life with. We have become so solid through all the mess. I think we have truly seen all sides of each other this year and I love him even more for it. As I look at my husband each night, so tired and worn out from a very long days work all I can think of is, dang how did I get so lucky. We are both so far from perfect but I would take him anyway I can. We are truly starting to lean on each other and our Heavenly Father. What a wonderful thing it is to have Heavenly Fathers shoulders to lean on. Laying next to him each night brings me such joy. What an amazing man I have. Time can change the way we live, our dreams, the plans we start, but it will never change the love we have for each other.

BACK TO SCHOOL CELEBRATION

This morning Rylan's school did their annual back to school balloon celebration. It was so fun to see Rylan out their with his classmates. Each student got to let go of a balloon.

BABY COACHE

We had the opportunity to see our sweet baby on the ultra sound machine yesterday. What a wonderful experience it is to see this very little creation growing inside of me. I love every opportunity I have to hear the baby's heart beat. I'm not sure if it is because I am older, but this pregnancy has been a lot harder on me. Not only physically but I am constantly worrying about something being wrong with the baby. The doctor assured me the baby is fine, but of course with each of my babies something is always wrong. With Rylan it was my kidneys trying to shut down, with Paislee it was a torn placenta and blood pockets in my placenta and now with this little one the umbilical cord split and is attached in a not so good place on my placenta. The doctor says this is okay it just causes a low birth weight in the baby. This makes me nervous because I already have small babies, Rylan 7 pounds 7 ounces and Paislee 5 pounds 12 ounces. The doctor told me to relax because the baby is just fine. Here are some of the pictures we got of our little one.

When I asked Jordan if he wanted a boy or a girl, he let me know he wants a boy just like Paislee!!! I don't think I could handle another wild one like her.

LABOR DAY

We spent Labor Day up at the house in Parowan as we usually do each year. We rode a lot of 4-wheelers, hung out on the lawn, attended the rodeo and went to the parade.
On one of our rides we rode up to Yankee Meadow, the kids love it up there because of the river that we can have flower races.

The Rodeo

Everyone got a turn on the 50

It is hard to believe Paislee is old enough to ride the 50 by herself but she sure did. Luckily dad is fast enough to run beside her!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

My mom celebrated her 50th Birthday this year. It is kind of weird to think she is 50 when she has more energy than I do at 28. What an amazing Mother and Grandma she is. Paislee and I went and got doughnuts after taking Rylan to school to bring her. Paislee left town that afternoon so she didn't get to celebrate that night. That night we went to dinner as a family and then back to Grandma's for pie.

Grandma got Halloween stuff this year for her birthday

RYLAN'S 1ST DAY OF KINDERGATEN

Today was a very BIG day in our house. Rylan has wanted to start Kindergarten sense he turned 5. On his 5th Birthday he asked if he started school tomorrow. He was so excited this morning. He woke up and got moving a lot faster than usually, let's just hope it stays like this all year. When he got home he let me know that the best part of the day with recess and snack time. I think I might be in trouble.
Rylan was so excited about his Bakugan backpack

16 WEEKS & 24 TO GO

So much has happened these last 4 weeks, I'm not even sure were to start. I would say the most exciting things that has happened is that Rylan and Paislee have both got to feel the baby kick. I wasn't sure if they were actually feeling it or not, but the other night as Paislee was laying with me the baby kicked. Paislee grabbed her hand away and asked what was that. I knew she had felt the baby. Rylan has said he has felt it twice and I love how excited he gets. It brings me such joy to know how excited they are to have a new baby in the house. Rylan only wants a brother, so I sure hope he is okay if this baby turns out to be a girl. He let me know that if it is not a brother he was moving to Utah! He is quite the funny boy. Paislee on the other hand could care less. She told me she wants to give the baby a bath. She is such a little mother that she just wants something to play with. Our doctors visit this month went really well. The baby has a very strong heart beat and is growing well. I ended up having two doctors visits this month because I was a nervous the last few days I was having contractions. I went in to see the doctor and was told it was scare tissue and my ligaments stretching that was causing the pain. Let me just tell you, this was stronger than any cramp or contraction I have ever had. The doctor told me to take it easy and drink lots of water. I have been told I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so when this was so painful I was waking up in the middle of the night, I knew there was something wrong. Thankfully the baby and I am fine. I figured by the time baby number 3 is conceived your body just knows what parts need to move around to make room for the baby. The doctor actually said that the more pregnancy's you have the harder it is on your body and the more painful things will get. I sure am glad this is the last!!!

SHARK REEF

I had the opportunity to take the kids for one more play day before school started and we were lucky enough to have Grandma Zip join us. We stared the morning off at the Shark Reef and then went to lunch at ChuckeCheese. It was a lot of fun to get to go play with Grandma.

These last two pictures were taken by Rylan

HOTTEST JULY ON RECORD

I have lived in Las Vegas my whole life. This would mean 29 Las Vegas summers. This is my third pregnancy in the Las Vegas summer. I should be used to the heat of Las Vegas, right?!?! YEA, NOT SO MUCH. I have had the hardest time this summer with the heat. I spent the majority of the summer at the pool and when I got home I did not take my swim suit off. Jordan would come home from work at 6pm and ask if we just got home. Oh no, we had been home for hours, I just could not even think about actually putting cloths on. I know they say the heat gets worse as you get older but I didn't expect to have it start to effect me before I hit thirty. If I could I would go spend the next few weeks at the house in Utah. It is pretty sad when this 7 day forecast looks really nice!

FLIPnOUT

A friend in our ward has set up some pretty fun things for our kids to do over the summer at a discounted rate. We have been out of town or had other plans for most of the activities but last week we were able to join the group and go to FLIPNOUT. It is a giant warehouse with a bunch of trampolines put together and on the other side are a bunch of bouncy houses. It was really nice because it was only opened for our group so the kids could run free without me having to worry. Needless to say the kids had a great time.
