MY LITTLE SNUGGLE BEAR

Rylan has always been my little snuggle bear. He loves to just lay together and snuggle. He turned four yesterday and I really can't tell you were those four years went. He is the most loving little boy. From the day he was born he has been such an easy child to care for. He is so easy going, all he really ever wants is to just be playing. He loves to just be home. We spent the day together for his birthday and I loved every minute of it. We had family over to have birthday cake. He always has so much fun with all the family. Thank you so much Rylan for choosing me to be your mother, I couldn't have got a better son.

MONSTER TRUCKS

For Rylan's birthday all he wanted to do was go to the Monster Trucks. Being the sucker that I am I found out that they would be in Anaheim, CA the weekend before his birthday. So we loaded up the car, and I mean to the top, and headed down to California. Rylan had the best weekend. We went to Rancho Cucamango Friday and stayed with Jordan's Aunt and then headed to Anaheim Saturday. It was so nice to be able to see his family. We don't get to see them very often and we always have a lot of fun with them. Saturday we checked into the hotel (which was across the street from Disneyland, which was torture for us adults. We all wanted to go, but I don't think Rylan realized we were there) and then went down to Newport. We did a little shopping and then went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. The Monster Trucks were fun although I was a little nervous due to the little boy being killed last week. Sunday we went to Huntington Beach. We can not go down to California with out going to Jack's Surf Shop. That store is almost as good as the Element store to Jordan, so of course Jordan and Rylan both got Jack's t-shirts. We had a great weekend, even if we were all stuffed into one car.

A DAY IN THE ER

A few months ago my sister called me to tell me Paislee had fallen and put her teeth through her lip. Of course I flip out leave work drive to meet her, only to see that, yes her teeth did make a little hole in her gums, but probably not enough to go to the Emergency Room. Well, today was a different story. I was making the kids waffles, standing right next to were they were sitting. They like to sit on the counter to eat there meals. We have a spot in the kitchen were it is counter and then right above it it is a bar so there is a little table top for them. I am always standing there watching them eat and never really thought much of it until today. Some how Paislee fell off the counter and landed right on her face. This time her teeth really did go all the way through her lips. She had three gashed in her chin. Jordan and I both have pretty week stomachs when it comes to blood and needles, but I jumped into mom mode, while he ran to the other room. After getting her to spit out her waffle I could see that she would have to go to the Emergency Room. I was still in my pajamas so I ran up stairs changed my cloths and off we went. The ER doctor was really great, he told me that his wife and him were trying to decide if they should by their little girl a helmet because of the number of times she has fallen and hit her head. The doctor used the dermabond glue and put her chin back together. He said that the inside of her lip would be back to normal in the next day or so. As I was driving home I was thinking about all the scrapes and bruises that the kids have gotten and how bad I feel every time something happens to them. Then all I could think was how lucky I am to have such healthy children. If all I have to deal with from here on out is the little things here and there I can count my blessings. I can not express the love I have for my children. I have to leave them every morning for work and each day it is getting harder and harder. I am so thankful that I have a mother and mother-in-law that will watch my children for me so I don't have to worry about who is tending to my children. Grandma is defiantly the next best thing to mom.

BABY BAILEY IS HERE

I wanted to share with with everyone that one of my closest friends has had a HEALTHY baby boy today. Lindsay & Jason Bailey had a beautiful baby boy, Jack Jason Bailey. He was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 18 inches long with a head full of hair. Mom and baby are doing great. I can not explain the joy I have for them today. If anyone in this world deserves to be a mother and hold her little child it is Lindsay.

NEW YEARS DAY

This years for New Years Jordan and I borrowed my brothers Wii and the 4 of us were just going to stay home and play together as a family. Well that did not happen. That afternoon my sister called and said she had to watch her brother-in-law and wondered if we wanted together. The Jordan called and said he had invited my cousin over. So, our quiet night hasn't going to happen. I ran to the grocery store and grabbed some finger foods and got cookin. At about 8:30pm we had a knock at our door and my uncle, aunt, another cousin and his wife and kids came to hang out. It was a lot of fun because my other cousin has two little kids Rylan's age so the four kids had a lot of fun together. That night my cousin invited us to go sledding with them in the morning. Paislee wasn't feeling well that day so just Rylan and Jordan went. Rylan had so much fun. He loves playing with his "friends". He can't remember their names so he just asks when his "friends" can come play again.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

This year was a lot of fun. Every year is more and more fun with the kids. Rylan left Santa his cookies and pink milk, with carrots for the reindeer. After the kids finally went to bed the fun began for Jordan and I. We had bought Paislee a kitchen so we needed to put that together and get all the presents under the tree. Julie and Jake stayed at the house so they could see the kids Christmas morning. After going to bed at about 1:30AM I awoke to Julie standing next to my bed at 7:30am want to wake the kids up. So I let her get the kids up and Christmas was great. Paislee loved to open each present and Rylan's face after each gift was so excited. I can't wait for the years to follow.

After we were done my parents came over for a little while and then we went to Jordan's parents. All in all, it was a wonderful day.

Grandpa Mark got Rylan the whole Cowboy outfit. He loves it and is now taking turns with dad roping Eli.
Aunt Jenn got Rylan a little Bob the builder getup. The saspenders are great!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Every year my mom makes us Christmas pj's. It stared with my grandma making all 34 grandchildren pj's. It is something we all love each year.

This year after dinner we made gingerbread houses. It was a lot of fun. My Grandma Milford had more fun than any of us. Cody and her worked together. She took building their house very serious. Katilyn and Rylan worked together and when their house came crashing down, grandma grabbed the roof of their house and put it on her and Cody's house. It was so funny. Katilyn was not happy that her roof was stolen, but got a laugh that it was grandma that stole it.
Paislee didn't want to help daddy make their house, but she couldn't get the candy in her mouth fast enough.
Grandpa George and Paislee decided to read story books instead of make gingerbread houses.

PAISLEE'S CHRISTMAS DRESS

Every year growing up my mom made us 4 girls dresses for Christmas and Easter. Well, I don't sew. I like to act like I can and I can get away with what I know, but to make a dress. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. This year because I have been working full time my Christmas shopping really didn't get done until the week before Christmas. Paislee's new dress was almost forgot about until I saw the cute red jacket I bought her a few months earlier, that I thought would go great with any Christmas dress I got. I frantically went dress shopping during my lunch breaks the week before Christmas. The Friday before Christmas Sunday my mom and I went to the mall and found this dress all by its self at Penney's. It's not the best I know I could have gotten her, if I had actually gone a few weeks before Christmas, but it did the job.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE COACHE'S

Every year we get together with Jordan's side of the family the weekend before Christmas. It is always so nice to be able to see the family. Rylan and Paislee really enjoy playing with everyone. It is probably because they get
spoiled rotten there.

THE JOYS OF SANTA CLAUSE

My mom and I took the kids to see Santa today. Rylan did great. He told Santa he wanted Transformers for Christmas. Paislee on the other hand, did NOT enjoy Santa.

BIRTHDAY BALLOONS

My mother-in-law got 36 balloons for my father-in-laws birthday party. Let me tell you how much fun that can be for a 4 year old and 2 year old. They played with those balloons for hours after church on Sunday and they are still playing with the balloons that haven't completely lost the air in them a week and half later.
