PAISLEE'S CHRISTMAS DRESS

Every year growing up my mom made us 4 girls dresses for Christmas and Easter. Well, I don't sew. I like to act like I can and I can get away with what I know, but to make a dress. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. This year because I have been working full time my Christmas shopping really didn't get done until the week before Christmas. Paislee's new dress was almost forgot about until I saw the cute red jacket I bought her a few months earlier, that I thought would go great with any Christmas dress I got. I frantically went dress shopping during my lunch breaks the week before Christmas. The Friday before Christmas Sunday my mom and I went to the mall and found this dress all by its self at Penney's. It's not the best I know I could have gotten her, if I had actually gone a few weeks before Christmas, but it did the job.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE COACHE'S

Every year we get together with Jordan's side of the family the weekend before Christmas. It is always so nice to be able to see the family. Rylan and Paislee really enjoy playing with everyone. It is probably because they get
spoiled rotten there.

THE JOYS OF SANTA CLAUSE

My mom and I took the kids to see Santa today. Rylan did great. He told Santa he wanted Transformers for Christmas. Paislee on the other hand, did NOT enjoy Santa.

BIRTHDAY BALLOONS

My mother-in-law got 36 balloons for my father-in-laws birthday party. Let me tell you how much fun that can be for a 4 year old and 2 year old. They played with those balloons for hours after church on Sunday and they are still playing with the balloons that haven't completely lost the air in them a week and half later.

IT NOW FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS

Every year it takes something special to happen to make it feel like Christmas. Last year it didn't truly feel like Christmas for me until we were handing out gloves, socks and beanies to the homeless on Christmas Eve. This year the feeling came earlier. Sitting at my desk watching the snow fall was just great, then to come home and play in the snow with my children was so fun. We went home and read Christmas stories and then I Want A Dog Charlie Brown was on TV last night. It feels like Christmas is coming. I'm not sure who had more fun in the snow, Jordan or the kids!

JUICY

Julie finally broke down and got a puppy. She now has the cutest little Maltese ever. Her name is Juicy and the kids won't put her down. She has the cutest personality.

CHRISTMAS TREE

This year we have two Christmas trees. My aunt was cutting down trees, so I asked her to bring me back the tallest one she could bring home. Well she sure did that, but she forgot I needed a little tree with the height of the tree.
SOOO now we have two trees. I am so great full that she brought me one back but I just couldn't use that tree as the tree to put my present under. This year I did things a little different and decorated my tree in mainly red. I thought it turned out pretty good. The kids got to put all the fun ornaments on the tree upstairs in the loft.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBO

Last weekend we had a surprise 50th birthday party for my father-in-law. The party was at our house and we worked really hard to get the house ready for the party. Jordan and Jake were up until 2am painting the kitchen for me. They are the best. The party went great and Bob had no idea about it. The best part of the party was watching all of Bob's friends playing games. I would like to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBO. Thank you for everything you have done for our little family.

BALD AND BEAUTIFUL

My sweet little Paislee has never had much for hair. She is blond so what she does have doesn't even look like it is there. She received Jordan's curly hair so I started to put some gel in it to at least make what she does have stand out a little. The problem was that she only has hair on the top so she looked funny. My hair stylist (Aunt Julie) decide she needed a little off the top. So Paislee got her first hair cut although she doesn't have any hair. I did keep the few stands she cut off.

THE NEVER ENDING KITCHEN

So I just realized I never showed picture of the kitchen now that the granite is in. It looks so good. Brian and his guys did such a good job. Now the only problem is the color on the walls looks like baby poo. We have chosen a new color but right now I don't think either of us have the motivation to start painting again. So MAYBE someday my kitchen will be complete.

Jordan and Rylan were hard at work on my pantry. Rylan got to hammer in all the drywall screws. He just loves to work beside his dad.

ANOTHER WEEKEND AWAY

This last weekend the kids and I drove up to Ogden, UT with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Jordan's grandparents live up there and it had been awhile so we decided to go. We left Thursday night and returned home Sunday. It was a long drive for the kids, but they didn't do to bad. Rylan defiantly did better than Paislee. She just hates to be restrained no matter for how long so 7 hours is just to much for her. Each trip is getting a little better though. We went to a place called the Tree House. It was kind of like a giant Discovery Museum, but better.

SPEED RUN

Last weekend we jumped in the car and went to New Harmony, UT. A friend of my dad's was putting on a rodeo/fall carnival. The kids had a great time. The whole day was so nice, we just had a very relaxing time playing by the river, riding horses and enjoying each other. Rylan insisted on riding the horse with out Grandpa Mark holding onto him.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Prior to Halloween we did our pumpkin carving. We had everyone over, due to the fact that my mom left town. We all carved away. Well Jake had to work and Rylan just had to save uncle Jake's pumpkin for him, so the next night Jake and Julie came over and we carved pumpkins again.

Halloween was a lot of fun. We started the night or I should say day at my mom's getting the kids ready. We then took them over to Jordan's grandparents. Then off to Jordan's parents. We finally ended up at our wards Trunk-or-Treat. Rylan really got the hang of it, while Paislee wanted to just stop and eat the candy after each person put it in her bucket.

Paislee thought it would be cute to play in the dirt before we went to our trunk-or-treat.
