LABOR DAY FUN

We started our Labor Day Friday night heading up to the house in Parown (the yellow house).  Saturday we met up with the Anderson's and Hanchett's in Panguich Lake.  We did a little riding, a little shooting and a whole lot of laughing!

We went back down to Parowan late Saturday night and spent the rest of the weekend with Grandma & Bob-O

Paislee only hit 1 tree while driving the 4-wheeler.  Luckily no broken bones and she got right back on the bike.

This is a new game Bob-o made for the house with the kids hand and feet prints.

AXTAN IS 7 MONTHS

AXTAN

At 7 months you are:

You did not go to the doctor this month so I am not sure where you are on the growth scale but when I weighed you I got 18 pounds.  You are giving it everything you have to crawl, you have got the legs down but the arms are still staying still.  I know it won't be long and I will be in trouble.  You love the walker, you haven't become mobile in it but you love standing up in it.  You are still sleeping in mom and dad's room but I'm pretty sure that is about over.  You don't sleep through the night, but I also think the 4am feeding is about over as well.  You have eaten all kinds of baby food and have decided apples are not for you.  No apple sauce, apples and oatmeal, apple puffs and really you prefer water over apple juice.  I can't say I blame you though I don't like apples either.  You are growing like crazy and we love you like crazy.

POOR AXTAN

I almost named this post SAD PASILEE and thought POOR AXTAN was a better fit.  After picking up Paislee from school today, we were driving by Rylan's school on our way home.  Paislee asked me to stop and pick Rylan up.  I asked her why and she told me, she just missed him.  Very sweet I thought, but Paislee found another brother to torment. 

2nd DAY OF SCHOOL

On the second day of school the transportation changed.  Paislee will be riding the bus to school each morning and I will pick her up after school.  She has the nicest lady as the bus driver, thank goodness.  Paislee loves riding the bus.  She keeps asking if she is a big girl now.

 Rylan will be riding his bike to and from school (weather permitted).  He does not like that I walk behind him, but I'm just not ready to let him take that step yet.  Maybe middle school. 

1st DAY OF SCHOOL

 Neither of the kids were very excited to go back to school.  Paislee was excited to get an Ariel backpack though.  Paislee will be going to Elizando elementary school Monday - Thursday from 8am-10:30am.  She is in a speech class to help her better be understood.  There are only 5 kids in her class, 4 girls and 1 little boy (Logan).  Logan was in her class last year and she loves Logan.  Dad took her to school today. 

 Rylan is in 1st grade this year at Kitty Ward elementary and his teacher is Mrs. Carley.  When I asked him what his favorite part of the day was, he told me lunch!  I might be in trouble with this little boy.

DATE NIGHT

We ended the summer with a bang!!!

We both love Sugarland, (Jordan will deny it if you ask him, but he does) and I couldn't resist going to see them.  The concert was great, we had the best date night ever.  Thanks hubby

PAISLEE UPDATE

We are happy to report that Paislee's arm no longer looks like this.

AND she is now doing a lot of this!!!
