Paislee has never slept well from the day she was born. In fact it is safe to say she has only slept through the night a hand full of times in 4 years. Not only doesn't she sleep through the night but she also will stay up until 1 or 2 am and get up early in the morning. Her internal clock has never been right. About 3 months ago she started sleeping through the night and going to bed at a decent time. Life was good. Well, once she broke her arm we went back to waking up again. This morning I woke her up earlier than usual so that we could get back onto a routine. Tonight at 8:15pm I found her like this.
Axtan had his first friend over today! Little Ryder came for a play date and man am I tired. I'm sure glad I didn't have twins. They were actually both very good boy's and the kids and I had a ton of fun playing with these two little boys.
When I took Axtan to his 6 month checkup the doctor recommended I might want to move him to the next car seat. I didn't realize Axtan only has a pound and a half until he can ride forward facing. My other 2 baby's were a lot older when they hit 20 pounds so I wasn't thinking he would be ready yet. He loves his new seat and I love not having to lug the carrier everywhere.
When we moved into our home, Jordan told me he did not want a lot of pictures on the walls. He only wanted art work. I had fun buying some church pieces to hang on the walls but this wall was our fight. He wanted a giant picture and I wanted family photos. Well this weekend we compromised. We took family photos and turned them into art work. Thanks to our wonderful photographer who gave us some fun photos we could blowup.
She was going down the slide at Burger King head first and landed on the her elbow. She broke her arm right above the elbow. When I asked the doctor if I needed to be worried about her bones, he told me they are all very common brakes in kids and she just has bad luck. I'm not sure if it is her bad luck or mine but we are dealing with it.
We went to see the Little Mermaid up at the Tuacahn theater. Yet again we were not disappointed. They have the best plays up there. Paislee said Little Mermaid was her favorite, Rylan still says Tarzan was the best.
Oh Axtan, I am still trying to figure out were these last 6 months have gone. You have now eaten all of the stage 1 foods and are moving on to stage 2. You still are not sleeping through the night and I am trying to be patient with you. I have tried a few different things with you but the truth is you are just hungry and need that 4am feeding. You are still taking your reflex medication and it is doing what it is supposed to. You still love to squeal, especially when someone you recognize comes in the room. You let them know you are here and they better come say hi. You are taking 3 naps a day but they are getting shorter. One of your favorite things right now is to have the kids push you around in your walker. You got your bottom 2 teeth this month. I know more are coming because the drool is still massive and everything has to go in your mouth. You are rolling everywhere and can get anywhere you want. You have started to get up on your knees so I know it won't be long and you will be crawling. (I am really not looking forward to that) You are constantly smiling and laughing. I love hearing you play with your brother and sister. They love being around you so much. I sure hope you continue with your easy going attitude. I love you so much my little man.
WE HAVE ONE SON GETTING TEETH AND ONE SON LOOSING THEM
Rylan has had a loose tooth on the bottom for about a week now. He has been so excited to have it come out, but it just wasn't ready yet. Today we were all playing and all of a sudden he says his tooth is gone. We start looking on the floor and luckily we found it.
Axtan on the other hand now has two teeth on the bottom and I'm pretty sure the top two are coming soon!
Jordan and I have been married 7 years. We met through my sister 11 years ago. We dated off and on; both went to different colleges and when we moved back to Las Vegas, decided we were meant for one another.
Rylan is 9 years old, and in 3rd grade. He is such an easy going person and a true joy in our home. Rylan has been taking a Tumbling and Trampoline class. He has moved up classes already and is loving every minute. He is getting very good at photography and wants to take pictures of animals when he grows up. Rylan enjoys playing with his friends and they spend a lot of time on their bikes. He loves the water and has become a very good swimmer. He loves his little sister and brother so much and is a great big brother.
PAISLEE LORILYN
Paislee is 7, and in 1st grade. She loves every minute of being in school and at Rylan’s school. She enjoys coloring and playing with her dolls. She decided she wanted to take a brake from dance and started playing soccer. I can't believe how well she is doing with soccer. She is a very good defender. She is becoming very social and loves play dates with girls from her class. She is very much her daddy's little girl. Needless to say she has him wrapped around her finger.
AXTAN GEORGE
Axtan, who we call George more than Axtan is such a joy to have in our home. He is 3 now and three's are worse than two's. He gives me a run for my money but I love it. He is such a trooper, as long as he has the iPad he sits in his car seat through all my many errands. His favorite thing right now is Super Hero's, especially Bat Man! He enjoys playing outside. Anything brother and sister can do, he can do and loves trying.
Jordan
Jordan has branched off in his Construction career, he is selling real estate and truly enjoying every minute of it. Jordan closed in our formal living room and now has a home office. The kids and I are loving having him home more He has been serving as the Young Mens Priest Quorum Advisor. It has been an adjustment working with the youth, but he is doing a great job.
HOLLY
I am happy to say my life is extremely busy and I wouldn't change a thing! I was called to be in our wards Primary Presidency and am learning to enjoy the calling. I am serving as 1st VP over at the elementary school PTSO board, and I am spending a lot of time at the school. I spend lots of time in the car driving the kids from one activity to another. I would say though, I truly enjoy playing and trying to keep up with my three very wild and crazy children!
