EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA

We started off our Easter fun the Friday before spring break. Rylan's class had an EASTER EGG HUNT out on the playground. Rick, Rylan's best little friend
Friday morning while I was still stuck in the hospital, my wonderful husband helped the kids dye their eggs. My cousin, Matt was staying with us with his wife Cortney and two sons, Jaxson and Gage. I decided because my Grandpa and Grandma's house is on the market to be sold, I wanted one more Easter party there. Grandma always heated the pool and did a giant egg hunt every year. So we had swimming , egg dying, barbecuing, egg hunt and the Easter Bunny even showed up!

Sunday morning the Easter Bunny hid the kids baskets. Of course Rylan founds everyone's, but the bunny was tricky and made Rylan's really hard to find!
Axtan's 1st Easter
And the hunt is on!!!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON EASTER EGG HUNT AT GRANDMA COACHE'S

WHAT A WEEK

We started out Spring Break with a lot of fun things planned. Monday we went to the movies. Axtan woke up with a fever of 99 degrees and had it most of the day with a nasty cough. I knew we had a very busy week a head of us plus we had family coming to stay with us Thursday for the weekend. Paislee had an ear infection the Friday before so I decided I better get Axtan to the doctor and get him on some antibiotics too. I assumed he had the same thing sister had. Tuesday instead of going to the movies like I had planned I took Axtan to the doctor. After she examined him, she told me she wanted to test for one more thing and would be right back. After about 10 minutes she came back to let me know Axtan had RSV. She informed me that with the test coming back positive for RSV and the 104 degree temperature that he now had she would like to admit him to the hospital. My face must have told quite a story because the doctor said how sorry she was and then gave me a list of reasons he really needed to go. I was in no way going to try and change her mind, if he was sick my first priority was to be getting him better, but I sure had a lot to do the rest of the week. I felt so bad for Rylan & Paislee, it was their spring break and now mom was going to be gone. Luckily they were in heaven going back and fourth between both grandmas. Axtan and I spent 4 lovely days at Summerlin Hospital and by day 3 I wanted out of there so bad. I had not bathed sense Tuesday morning and really needed to get home to get the beds changed before my company came. Luckily Thursday morning my mom had a few hours that she could come stay with Axtan while I went home. I went to get in my car only to find my wind bashed in and my dvd player and radio stolen. I tried really hard but I sat in my car and just cried. All I wanted was one hour to run home and sure enough some jerk took that away from me. Instead I sat in my car and dealt with the insurance. All I could think about was laying in a hot bath, instead I now had to meet two deductibles. I sure could think of a few better ways to spend spring break with the money we just spent.

What the heck is going on!?!

SLEEPING BEAUTY

For some very strange reason my children have been getting up between 6:30 and 7am every day for about a week now. So this morning when Paislee was up at 7am it was no surprise. We took Rylan to school and then headed for the bath tub. Once her and Axtan were done in the tub I sent her to get her underwear. I was finished getting Axtan dressed and realized she had not made it back into my room, so I headed out to find her. This is what I found:

She was naked on the beanbag fast asleep. I guess all the early mornings have finally caught up to her!

AXTAN IS TWO MONTHS

AXTAN
At 2 months you are:

9 pounds 6 ounces (5%)

24 inches (85%)

(tall and skinny just like your brother always was)

Oh my little Axtan how this last month has been so challenging. Now that I have spoiled you rotten, it is getting very hard to get things done around the house. I have to admit my house is a mess, but I still love holding you all the time. You are having a very hard time eating. You can not eat more than 2 ounces with out it all coming back up. You seem to be constantly hungry, but I can only feed you every hour and a half to make sure you don't throw it all up. You used to sleep so well but now you are up every 3 hours at night wanting to eat again. You are smiling so much lately you would never know you are having any problems at all. You love looking all around you and you are now starting to talk to us. You have such a strong grip and you seem to always find your sister's hair. You are starting to get a more little control of your neck and head. You are so fun to have in our home.

RYLAN'S FIRST SOCCER GAME

Rylan decided awhile ago that he did not want to play baseball this spring, he wanted to play soccer. He has really enjoyed all the practices and the morning of the game he was up supper early and ready to play. He did so good at the game. He did so well that dad even took us for icecream after the game. They won 1-0.
