MATERNITY PICTURES

I have never wanted to take maternity pictures before, but something about knowing this will be the last time I am pregnant made me think I better get some cute pictures. I thought about hiring someone but I decided I would rather use the that money for pictures of the baby, so my mom took these for us.

WHAT THE HECK

Why is it that Paislee will ride he bike around the house for hours, but yet I can't get her to walk??? She has been without a cast for a week now and the doctor said not to push her, but I will be having a C-Section in 3 days and will not be able to lift her. I really need her to start walking!

RYLAN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Rylan's Birthday party was the day after his birthday this year and he loved that he got a Birthday Weekend instead of a Birthday! He invited 10 little kids plus the family and I will say it was pure kayos, but so much fun. Thanks to Grandma for letting us borrow her bouncer again this year!

Jordan's sister came down from Cedar City, UT for Rylan's birthday and also so we could finally meet Talon. The kids were in Heaven to be able to see him.
When it came time for Talon to go home, Paislee did not want him to leave

FREE AT LAST

Paislee was able to get her cast off today!!! We were very surprised because the doctor originally said she would have to be in a non-walking cast for 3 weeks and then a walking cast for another 4-6 weeks. When he said she was good to go I didn't say a word. I was so happy. She still isn't walking, but as long as she is walking by the time the baby comes I will be a very happy mommy!

36 WEEKS & ANY DAY

Well now that I am 36 weeks the doctor has said I can come off my medication and the bed rest!!! You have know idea how excited I am. This has been the longest 4 and 1/2 weeks of my life. You would think that laying in bed would be nice but after about day 2 I was going nuts. Now I am less than 3 weeks from my scheduled C-section and I have so much to do, life is going to be very busy for me. I am so excited to get everything ready for this little bundle of joy. I really don't have much to report these last 4 weeks. The doctor did make a comment that I gained 10 pounds in the last 4 weeks and I had to laugh. I have done nothing but eat and sit on my butt, plus it was during the holidays so I thought 10 pounds wasn't to bad. He then told me it was actually a good thing because I needed it. Now that this little peanut is 36 weeks the baby is packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. The baby now weighs almost 6 pounds and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. The baby is shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered it's body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected the baby's skin during it's nine-month amniotic bath. At the end of this week, our baby will be considered full-term. I am hoping that this baby will be coming this week or just stay right were it is until Feb 3rd. Rylan's birthday is on Jan 28th and I hope not to be in the hospital for it!

DISNEY ON ICE

For Christmas this year I bought my niece's, sister's, and children tickets to Disney on Ice. I didn't tell the kids until the day of the show and they were so excited that everyone was going with us. The little girls did better than I ever thought they would and my kids were very excited for the icee's and popcorn!

TALON JEFF GARDUNO

My sister-in-law, Jennifer had a beautiful little boy. I had planned all a long to go up to Cedar City for the delivery, even when the doctor put me on bed rest I was not going to let that keep me away. This is her first baby and I wanted to be there for her. When I got the text that her water had broke, Jordan and I talked about it and we (he) decided it probably was not the smartest thing for me to go. I was heart broken. I knew I wanted to be there but once it set in that I wasn't going to be able to, I was so sad. Mom and baby are doing great and learning to adjust to each other.

8 pounds 2 ounces and 22 inches long

BROKEN, AGAIN

Friday mid afternoon Paislee decided to climb on her dresser. Down she went with the TV. Luckily only her foot was caught under the TV. We snuggled in bed for a while and then she seemed to not be in much pain, but she wouldn't use it. After a very long night she woke up Saturday and was now in a lot of pain. Off to Quick Care we went and sure enough it was broken. She had broken her tibia and her fibula. Once she realized she was going to have to have another cast she was not a happy girl and the whole place heard her screaming about not wanting a cast on. Monday when we went to the Orthopedic we were told she can not walk on her foot for 3 weeks. I seriously think I had tears in my eyes when I heard what the doctor said. He told me he would order a wheel chair for her because he wanted her to not move it and I was in no position to be carrying her around. After the 3 weeks is up we have to get more x-rays and then hopefully a walking cast for another 4-6 weeks. I am trying to stay positive but I sure hope our little family can catch a break some where.

Letting the doctors office know she did NOT want another cast

HAPPY NEW YEAR

This year for New Years we did nothing. This is the first year EVER that we did nothing. The four of us went to CiCi's Pizza and then came home and had a bowling tournament. I would like to say that I did make it to Midnight even if I was in my bed watching the fireworks. It was a different New Years but still a fun one.
