The Cayman Islands was probably the highlight of our trip. The things we did there were just amazing. We started by swimming with the STINGRAYS. I was nervous because all I had ever heard was how there are just so many that they bombard you. We didn't have that problem. There were definitely stingrays but not the hundreds that everyone talked about. I was still a little over whelmed but by the end, I held a little one. On our way out to the Stingray SandbarAll Rylan cared about when we talked about this trip was that Mom and Dad would be swimming with the Stingrays.
The waterproof camera got a little foggy, but I am holding a male stingray! On our way back our guide stop and picked up a Sea Star
The Dolphin Swim was my favorite. I think we can all say it was an amazing experience. We spent about 45 minutes actually interacting with our Dolphin LUNA.
In our last stop Cozumel, none of the excursions looked to exciting so Bob and Vaunette went to look at some Ruins and Jordan, Jennifer, Jeff and I went to Paradise Island. It really wasn't Paradise but it was something to do, right. We were supposed to take a Catterman, which Jordan was pretty excited about, but rally it was just a water taxi. We did get to see dolphins swimming in the wild though.
This is what most of our sunsets looked like. Now that we have taken a cruise with a balcony I don't think we will ever not have one. We spent at least an hour every night just sitting and talking on the balcony. We all had rooms in a row, so we spent a lot of time with our heads around the wall talking to our neighbors.
This was girls night, boys night. Each night we kind of played musical chairs with dinner, it was nice to get to chat with someone different each night. After dinner we usually walked around the ship
Jordan and I have been married 7 years. We met through my sister 11 years ago. We dated off and on; both went to different colleges and when we moved back to Las Vegas, decided we were meant for one another.
Rylan is 9 years old, and in 3rd grade. He is such an easy going person and a true joy in our home. Rylan has been taking a Tumbling and Trampoline class. He has moved up classes already and is loving every minute. He is getting very good at photography and wants to take pictures of animals when he grows up. Rylan enjoys playing with his friends and they spend a lot of time on their bikes. He loves the water and has become a very good swimmer. He loves his little sister and brother so much and is a great big brother.
PAISLEE LORILYN
Paislee is 7, and in 1st grade. She loves every minute of being in school and at Rylan’s school. She enjoys coloring and playing with her dolls. She decided she wanted to take a brake from dance and started playing soccer. I can't believe how well she is doing with soccer. She is a very good defender. She is becoming very social and loves play dates with girls from her class. She is very much her daddy's little girl. Needless to say she has him wrapped around her finger.
AXTAN GEORGE
Axtan, who we call George more than Axtan is such a joy to have in our home. He is 3 now and three's are worse than two's. He gives me a run for my money but I love it. He is such a trooper, as long as he has the iPad he sits in his car seat through all my many errands. His favorite thing right now is Super Hero's, especially Bat Man! He enjoys playing outside. Anything brother and sister can do, he can do and loves trying.
Jordan
Jordan has branched off in his Construction career, he is selling real estate and truly enjoying every minute of it. Jordan closed in our formal living room and now has a home office. The kids and I are loving having him home more He has been serving as the Young Mens Priest Quorum Advisor. It has been an adjustment working with the youth, but he is doing a great job.
HOLLY
I am happy to say my life is extremely busy and I wouldn't change a thing! I was called to be in our wards Primary Presidency and am learning to enjoy the calling. I am serving as 1st VP over at the elementary school PTSO board, and I am spending a lot of time at the school. I spend lots of time in the car driving the kids from one activity to another. I would say though, I truly enjoy playing and trying to keep up with my three very wild and crazy children!
