MILFORD FAMILY PICTURE

We have had the worst luck with trying to get our family pictures done. I am not exaggerating when I say 7 times we have had an appointment and the weather has just been horrible. We were able to get the whole group pictures done. Here a few from the day. We plan to try and go out again and get some better shots of the kids and my little family.

LITTLE BIT'S GONE

I tried to do this post a few months ago and just couldn't get myself to do it. At the end of January my in-laws dog Little Bit past away. This is not the first animal my children have been close to that we lost so I sadly can say my children are pretty familiar with the death of a pet. Little Bit ended up getting sick while Jordan's parents were out of the country and between Jordan, his sister and I the decision was made to let her go. It was not a decision that came lightly by any means. Through all the craziness of that night I was the one down at the vets office at midnight and I was the one that had to say the last good byes to this little dog that my entire family loved so very much. Little Bit was a very special dog and my Pasilee keeps asking were Little Bit is. My in-laws have now gotten two very cute little dogs and now instead of asking were Little Bit is, Paislee lets me know that Little Bit's gone and Oreo Cookie and Scout live with Grandma now.

PAISLEE'S EASTER DRESS

I was kind of bummed this year that Easter was on General Conference weekend. Although I loved not having to rush to church after finding everything the Easter Bunny brought the kids, Paislee did not get to wear her dress on Easter Sunday. She is so fun right now. She loves wearing dresses. She spins around as fast as she can so her dress will twirl around with her. She was so excited this morning when I pulled out her NEW dress. I told her this was her Easter dress and she ran around the house telling brother and dad that the Easter Bunny brought her a new dress.

EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA

We started our Easter festivities last Sunday. My parents were supposed to be leaving town so we decided to dye eggs with the family after Sunday dinner. The kids were excited because it was Portlynn and Harlee's first time dying eggs.
Wednesday my mom wanted to give the grandkids a little Easter party. We decorated cupcakes had water balloon races and hunted for eggs.
Please excuse the naked child. She got green dye all over her white shirt. This is what the babies did while we played in the water Saturday, I so nicely invited my family over to my Aunt Peggy's house for her Easter party. Growing up my Grandma Zobrist ALWAYS had the best Easter party. We dyed eggs, she heated the swimming pool and we had a BBQ. Peggy was doing the same thing for her grand kids and because my family was all supposed to be out of town I asked her if we could join in on the fun. Well my family decided not to leave town so they all also join in on Peggy's party. I felt bad for having the whole family crash her party but it was a lot of fun. It gives my the kids a chance to play with kids their own age. After our Easter party we headed over to Grandma Coache's to dye eggs with them. Easter morning of course the Easter Bunny made it to our house. Grandma and Grandpa Coache came over to make sure the kids found all the eggs. They also came for breakfast.

EASTER FLOWERS

My visiting teachers brought me the cutest flowers for Easter. I decided to copy the idea and give them to my mom, grandma and mother-in-law for Easter. It has chocolate bunnys and eggs in the flowers.
