JENNIFER & JEFF

It is official Jennifer and Jeff were married Saturday. They were married in the Draper Temple and it was a beautiful day. The night of the reception was freakin freezing, but everything turned out wonderful. Jennifer worked her butt off to make everything just right, and it was. They are now spending the week in Cancun and then heading back to Vegas to do it all over again. They are having a ring ceremony and reception here in Las Vegas on Saturday.

We drove up Wednesday night and spent Thursday at the hotel. The kids were so excited to go swimming.

Saturday after everything was over we decided to head up to Park City. We thought we deserved a little fun. The kids had a blast on the slides.

We decided that Rylan was big enough to do the trampoline. We hasn't quite big enough to do flips, but he still had a great time jumping

BED TIME

We are having a very hard time right now in our house. I have NEVER been one of those moms that has a schedule for her children. For the first 3 years of being a mother we were always on the go. I would laugh at my girl friends that couldn't do something because that would be their child's nap time. I would say between work and being at my moms, my children hardly ever fell asleep in there own beds. Well now that I have a wonderful house and I truly enjoy being home, my children are confused. I have been trying to get my children to go to bed before 10pm for about a year now. I really feel like I have tried everything, it just isn't happening. Paislee is deadly afraid of her bed. She won't even lay in it with me. Rylan will lay in bed for a little while and then he is out and about. I would love any help I can get right now. Last night I was trying to get laundry done and Paislee was not having it. I finally told her to go get her blanket and lay down while finished the laundry. Mind you it was 10:15pm by this time. It took her about 2 minutes and she was out. I am struggling big time and need suggestions please.

BABY SHOWER

This last weekend my sisters and I gave a baby shower for my sister Jessica. She wanted to play games and I was a little nervous about playing games when she invited 60 people, but it all turned out great. It was so fun to catch up with all the family. I have some great cusins, I forget how much I miss them until we get together and start talking. I just love sitting around talking with the girls. Thanks for coming girls!

HALLOWEEN HERE WE COME

This last weekend the kids were not feeling well so we did not leave the house. I could tell they were starting to get a little restless so I started pulling out Halloween decorations. The kids had a great time decorating, but then they found the old costumes. They had such a blast trying on each costume.
Rylan was Spider Man last year, Paislee was a butterfly her first Halloween!
Rylan was a crayon 2 Halloweens ago!

Rylan was a Giraffe his first Halloween! Paislee is just a tiny little girl.

5 YEARS AND COUNTING

Jordan and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. Even though Rylan is now 4 it does not seem like we have been married that long. I could have NEVER asked for a better friend and husband. I truely know I have chosen my soul mate for eternity. I am so lucky to have a man who honors his priesthood and his family. As I look back at how things have changed over the last 5 years and think of all we have done, I am amazed.

BAMBOOZLED

At our old house we had a fish tank. Well at the new house I really didn't want to deal with a fish tank. Heavens we have three dogs, a hamster and a little fish tank with one apustomus that was left from the other tank. Well my husband has been making comments lately about setting up the tank. This is not a small tank we are talking 60 gallons. I told him no because all of the wood around the house is black and this fish tank is oak. We have no oak in our house!!!! Last week my husband comes literally running in the house to tell me there is a 60 gallon fish tank on Craig's List for less the $100 with the stand and all the pumps. (If I have not mentioned it before, I HATE CRAIG'S LIST!) Of course Rylan is standing there just as excited as Jordan. I told him if THEY were going to do it all they could have it. Jordan called the lady and it turns out that they lived right down the street from us. The boys went and picked it up. I wanted to put it in the kitchen breakfast nook, but I lost that discussion because the boys wanted it were you could sit and look at it. It is now behind my couch, on the carpet. I look at it as a good excuse to get new carpet when water gets every where. The boys went to the pet store and got a ton of fish. Not to mention Jordan has come home almost every day with either more fish, plants or something for the tank. All in all Jordan and Rylan are so happy and that's all that matters. The water is still settling after filling up the tank

HORSES

Saturday night we took the kids over to ride my dad's horses. The kids have never been to excited to actually ride or touch the horses. They both did great. Paislee would only ride with me for a little while but she got comfortable and moved on to Katilyn and then Grandma!

BRIDAL SHOWER

I gave Jennifer (Jordan's sister) a bridal luncheon this last weekend. I think it turned out pretty good if I might say. There were about 20 of us sitting around laughing and catching up together. Jennifer got lots of fun things and some very cute lingerie!!! I just love throwing parties and preparing all the food. I could spend hours in the kitchen cooking and love every minute of it. Julie put together the cake. It is made out of towels and turned out so cute!
