LABOR DAY!!!

Jordan and I decided a few weeks back that we wanted to just stay home and relax for Labor Day, we are busy every weekend from the end of August until Halloween so we thought this would be our one weekend to do nothing. I promise it wasn't two days and Jordan was letting me know that he had to go back up to Panguitch Lake to finish a few things the Doctor wanted to change. We looked at the calender and Labor Day was the only weekend we had. SOOOO we packed up the car and headed to the "yellow house". We left Friday afternoon and ended up in a pretty nasty hail storm at about Logan Dale. It was so cute because the hail was scaring Paislee so Rylan grabbed her blanket and cuddled with her. We got to Cedar in time to have dinner at Jeff & Jennifer's house. It was nice to see were Jenn will be moving to. Rylan and Paislee defiantly approve of the house because the neighbor hood park is right across the street from their front door. The kids could not get enough of the park. After dinner we made the last little trek to Parowan. Saturday Jordan and his dad headed up to Panguitch Lake and Vaunette and I head into Cedar with the kids to do some grocery shopping. It bugs me that everything in their grocery stores are at least if not more than 50 cents cheaper. I know UT has sales tax on their food but even paying the sales tax things are still cheaper. Don't our stores in Las Vegas realize that we have the highest unemployment rate in the country? Okay sorry for the little rant. After the grocery store we went up to see the cabin Jordan had been working at. I went up the first weekend he was up there but not sense. It sure looked different. I love to see how Jordan's job's turn out. He is such a perfectionist that they are always turn out so beautiful. Saturday night we went over to the Iron County Fair. The kids had a great time riding the rides and eating the treats. Sunday we trailered the 4-wheelers to a friends place right by Duck Creek. They took us on a great ride up the mountain that landed us with a beautiful view of Zion. The ride took a little longer than planned and we missed the BBQ over at our friends house. We went over anyway and just caught up on life. They are great friends and it was nice to see them again. Sunday night we went back over the the fair were Bob and Vaunette talked Jennifer and Jordan into riding the Zipper! Jordan and the basket swinging before the ride even started. Jennifer was a good sport but I don't think she will ever get on that ride with her brother again. Monday we did the Iron County Parade and then headed home. It was a nice weekend with the family.

I keep telling my husband that the phone is not something we use while driving!!!

Our cute little kids enjoying Peter Pan

Rylan could not get enough of these swings!
Jordan, Vaunette, Jennifer & Bob

Paislee was so sad she could not go on the swing so we settled for the horse.

Paislee and Aunt Jenn

Rylan also enjoyed the FUN HOUSE

Bob, Jill & Rylan trying to decide what way we should go to get back

Grandma & Paislee

Jordan scared Rylan before we even started the ride so he jumped on the back of me until he watched how his dad was going faster than mom and then wanted to go back with dad.

It never fails every time Paislee get on the 4-wheeler she is out! I really need to invest in a kangaroo pack. Until then I use a overly big jacket and zip her up!

THE COACHE'S

Rylan wasn't very aggressive when it came to fighting the other little kids for the candy at the parade!

Paislee just relaxing on the grass

Rylan wanted to take Grandma for a ride

MY BABY'S

It isn't a weekend trip to Parowan with out having to fix something. It rained pretty good Friday night and Saturday we woke up to a leak in the living room!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

Last night we had a little birthday party for my mom. I want to take as minute to write about what a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and wife this women is. If I end up being half the person she is I would be lucky. My mom is currently watching my children twice a week and they couldn't be happier. Each night before bed my son asked "wake up go where"? It often makes me sad that he gets so excited to go to grandma's house, but the more I think about it the better I feel that my kids are so well taken care of. I am so lucky that my children have her in their lives. My mom goes above and beyond to help anyone. Between family and church she keeps her life extremely busy. Thank you mom for being such an amazing mom!

ROAD TRIP

After spending eight weeks taking care of our wonderful children on my own, I decided it was okay to head up to South Jordan for my sister-in-law's bridal shower WITH NO CHILDREN! My mother-in-law and I drove up Friday morning. We were able to do some shopping in Provo and then met up with Jennifer and Jeff to go choose a cake for the wedding. We then drove into South Jordan and stayed with Jeff's family. Jeff's parents have quite an amazing garden going on in their back yard. Due to the gardening his mother does a lot of canning. As Jennifer walked us down stairs to our rooms for the weekend she gave me a peek into their storage room. I about died. I thought I was doing pretty good with my food storage, yea not so much. Susan puts me to shame. She was so kind and told me to take a few bottles when I went home. Saturday morning we got up and did a session in the Draper Temple. It was nice to go do a session up there because that is the Temple that Jennifer will be married in, and I know there won't be time to get a session in over the weekend she is married. After the temple we headed back to the Garduno's to have Jenn's bridal shower. It was so nice to see Jordan's family up there that we haven't seen in so long. Jennifer got some fun things from the shower and might I add some very creative gifts. Jordan's Cousin Emily, Aunt Pam, Grandma Austin & Mom
Jeff's nieces helping Jenn with her gifts
This little women is giving to all the bride's in the Garduno family! (Ironing board, broom, mop, oven mitts, apron, toilet brush, kitchen spatula's and measuring utensils)
Another Aunt gave Jenn this bouquet with flowers and lots of kitchen gadgets.
Saturday night we hung around the house and play card games. Sunday we went over to my cousin's house to do a trial run on Jennifer's hair. Cortnie did a great job. After that was done we headed home. At about Beaver we started to notice the haze over the mountains. Vaunette and I both thought there was no way this smoke was coming from the California fires. As we got closer and closer to Parown it was really getting bad and we could smell the smoke in the car. Once we stopped for gas we found out there was a fire in the New Harmony mountains. It was quit an amazing site to see. I finally made it home to a very exhausted husband and two excited children. It is a great feeling to have your children run into your arms because they have missed you so much. Here are a few pictures from the weekend with daddy.Sorry the picture is from Jordan's phone!

MORE SWIMMING

I know you are probably tired of the swimming pictures. Pretty much all we have done this summer is swim. This weekend was great because DAD was home and he went swimming with us.
They did land on the tub, but then bounced right out of it
Jordan and Rylan started to get creative with the tube
Rylan was trying so hard to hold the tube for dad.
Paislee enjoys the hot tub a lot more than the big pool. She had so much fun with Grandma Coache and Aunt Jenn
Jordan doing flips while holding on the tub!!!
Rylan talked grandma into getting into the big pool. Mind you it was raining and not as warm as we would have liked
Paislee was not to excited to go float with dad

HE IS HOME

My husband has been out of town sense June 26th and finally returned home last night at midnight. The kids are going to be so excited to see him home when they wake up this morning. Eight weeks with out him was just way to long and hard. Sorry about the boring blogging lately but I really didn't want anyone to know that I was home alone the last two months. I know kind of lame, but I get a little worried. He was supposed to be gone for about a week and that sure was not the case. A doctor here in town bought a cabin in Paniguich Lake and need the whole thing remodeled. They started off with 6 guys and by the time the cabin was finished Jordan had to call his best friend to come up and help him finish, everyone had headed home. My husband is not one to quit on a job he has started. While he was gone I thought I would have time to get my scrapbooking room all set up and also get so much done around the house. It has been eight weeks and I went in the room long enough to change the bedding on the bed, but I have not even started on the scrapbooking part. Being a single parent is not easy. I love my husband and have always acknowledged how much he does around the house, but dang. Jordan does a lot. Just trying to keep up with the kids was making me crazy. I have wonderful, but yet oh so busy children. I never realized how much my husband spoils me. The kids missed him a lot. It took a few weeks for them to really care that he was gone but this last two weeks was really hard on them. Jordan came home twice and I went up there once with the kids and once on my own. These pictures were from the last time he came home. The kids would not let him out of their sight.

ANOTHER WEEKEND AT THE POOL

We spent another weekend at the pool. My children are turning into little fish. Paislee is starting to enjoy the water a little more. She loved the pool we went to on Friday. We went over to my girl friend's parents house. They have a beach front entrance and she loved it. Rylan is getting so brave. He was jumping off of the rocks like it was no big deal. I was more nervous than he was.
Rylan and Carter

Saturday we headed over to my aunt's house. The kids just love Aunt Peggy.
